Will skin redraping (or tightening) in mastopexy improve the appearance of stretch marks on my breasts? (Photos)

Excellent question… yes it will! You will get very similar improvement to the stretch marks and y tightness of the skin with a lift. One of the factors with a breast lift, as far as lasting results is the weight of the breasts. So, as long as the lifted breasts are nit too heavy, a stable weight and proper braw will help maintain results.

It is possible to reposition and improve the shape of the breast with minimal scarring by raising the base slightly and improving the overall proportion with J inverted scar breast lift . This will create overall harmony. As for the stretch marks when the mammary tissue is repositioned the stretch mark will be less noticeable. Based on the pictures what I recommend you is breast reduction with lift and implants also areolas reduction. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like a breast lift would help you with stretch marks. Thank you for your question. A mastopexy will improve your stretch marks mildly, as your skin will be slightly tighter. The best option however would be to get laser treatment after your mastopexy to specifically target the stretch marks. The appearance will maintain months after surgery, however final results after mastopexy are around 4 to 6 months. Your breast will continue to change as you change and gravity will still have an effect on them over time. Good luck

I do believe the breast skin will look much better with breastlift. Another procedure to consider would be adding fat transfer which would add conservative volume but also a stem cell effect that would improve skin quality. With weight loss, augmentation with implant is sometimes necessary to best fill, lift and rejuvenate the breast area.

With a lift, the excess skin is removed and many stretch marks are less noticeable. Micro-needling can also be done to improve stretch marks.
